An Interfaith Advent Celebration
Each week, an altar is prepared honoring the beliefs and rituals of that week's holiday.
By Christmas Eve, we have added a nativity scene, completing a beautiful array of colors, symbols and light.
This 4-week Advent series explores five of the major holidays celebrated during the holiday season. We begin with Diwali, followed by Chanukkah, Solstice, and Kwanzaa. Christmas is celebrated on Christmas Eve with a traditional candlelighting ceremony.
